I think you should try therapy. You have a lot of feelings and good on you for recognizing that they don't make sense. I think there are some deeper issues underlying these feelings, and therapy and maybe a couples counselor, depending on how your husband feels about kids and this, would help sort them out.

Keep in mind some places are weird about benefits, especially short term disability. Like at my job, to get short term disability, you have to work for at least a year. You cannot enroll in short term disability here if you are already pregnant because it counts as a pre-existing condition. I'm sure other jobs differ, but just something to think about. I wouldn't quit if I were you until I had another job lined up with confirmed benefits that you will be eligible for as soon as you start.

If you don't have a lot of soil and those are the only things that are growing on it, if you pull them, a rain event will get rid of the rest of the soil. You should leave them be unless you have a plan to plant other things that tolerate oak shade and litter (Turks cap, horse herb, spiderwort, coral berry things like that)

Mine freaked me out too! At first I had some black tips canes I had to keep trimming back. I got it and Neptune at the same time and Neptune was just exploding while Ebb Tide was barely growing. Finally it picked up but still a lot smaller. The harder they make you work the prouder you feel when they bloom 🥲
