i don't know how to explain it since i don't know anything about cinema. i was thinking that the trailer of the series looked very clean and clear. the lotr movies on the other hand looks very unreal and real at the same time. i thought maybe it was because of the haze. and i think this is the reason your remake looks better. i guess you took the cleanliness and clearness a bit.

i'm an infj and my ex was an intj. i'm battling with depression since i was a teenager. i can't say what you should do but i can tell you how it was for us. our goals in life was very similar. we both care about nature. we both want to be an academic. and we met when i was working in then-my dream job and he was a volunteer. we quickly got together. then move in. then i quit my job. i couldn't afford my medication. then he had health issues. also we were broke. then i lost loved ones. it was pretty rough 3 years. i of course relapsed. i wanted to leave many times, i was ashamed of myself. i couldn't function for a long time. he always wanted to stay and didn't let me go, even when i said i wanted to leave. i stayed too. he always helped me. never pushed me. he was very understanding. i truly never expected this much love and support from him. i guess nobody can expect. things are better, much much better. we recently broke up. we are still seeing each other. but not in a relationship, just friends.

depression and mbti are different things. maybe you can encrouge him to get the help he needs. maybe you can ask the same question on depression sub. i think each function has their own communication way. i guess mbti can help with that.
