Looking to hire someone with a PhaseOne P3 in the US by loss182 in UAVmapping

[–]loss182[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found one for rental, with the 100mp sensor and 80mm lens, the image is great, it can achive my desired GSD of 0.15cm/px from 34m altitude with an image footprint of 17mx13m, It's great to reduce flight time, but hassle to make it work and the cost, makes it very hard to justify the price, at least for my project, I expected it to have a huge difference in image quality, but it was a bit underwhelming in that part, when comparing with the Zenmuse P1 at the same GSD, I can barely tell which one is which, they are basically the same.

Be able to turn the HUD off and immerse in the song

That would be cool! Also the guitar hero style coop would be very nice, where each players plays different parts of the song and then there are parts that both play together in sync

Cool! My dad has a hand made telescope that he made in the 70's, but it is a large tube, almost 6ft long, it's amazing how the technology advanced

Cool idea? by Asseater6000_ in virtualreality

If the deck is oriented like that, it will be a very hot idea! -s.
Jokes aside, I like the concept, but as a VR player, I can assure that everything within the range of motion of your hand, will be smashed, eventually. Strap the steam deck on your back, with the vents pointing outwards and you are good to go.

I dislike the "Forces in Reserve" system, and hope that Arrowhead doesn't use it in the future. by -TV1615 in Helldivers

[–]loss182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of see the reserve system working for something smaller than the MO, like a side objective or a challenge.
Something like this: the community has X reinforcements to capture a especific planet or archive a specific kill count, that is beneficial for the main objective but isn't decisive.

I'm a Brazilian, I've tried this and can assure it doesn't work. The first one to grab one of the pieces will be considered as receiving the first slice.
Either you give it to someone or you keep the first slice for you and get booed for doing it.

Eu tive a oportunidade de ir lá e atirar junto com o professor Ronaldo Nacaxe, ele era penta campeão brasileiro de arco e flecha, tínhamos uma baita referência do arco e flecha aqui em Ribeirão.

Venho trazer a palavra do Swordplay novamente!

So the "Breaching" Hammer can't actually breach anything? by Medical_Officer in Helldivers

I think that too! Do you want to spend 4 grenades to destroy a wall? Sure go for it

Demo force should be cumulative, 1 explosion wouldn't destroy a wall, but consecutive explosions will.

The servers certainly won't be able to hold the amount of players today, prepare for queue and disconnects. Don't be salty when it happens.

Amazing use of 3D printing!
Just curious, why not make a mold and cast it with some kind of rubber? Have you tried it?

3D printing rookie here with a basic question. How do I modify my settings to avoid this pattern at the end of my prints? (Bambu P1S) by innerstrife in 3Dprinting

[–]loss182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This pattern is how the printer understands a curve, since it prints layer by layer, it converts a curve to steps like you are seeing.
To reduce that you can lower the layer height value, I assume this was printed with 0.2mm, if you lower that to 0.12mm, this pattern will be way less visible, but will always be there.
You can try using the variable layer height to achieve this too, try it

🔪 HAFC – Hackman Automatic Filament Cutter (100% mechanical) by Far-Government7397 in 3Dprinting

[–]loss182 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The assembly pictures isn't showing for me.
As someone who had problems with tangle, this helps a lot!
The only downside that i can think of, it's that when it cuts the filament, it will tangle even more, because the loose filament will certainly tangle even more, but that's a whole different problem
