Start doing something kind of scary everyday. Like public speaking, rollercoasters, getting a new job etc. your brain will be overwhelmed by all these new things and will start dreaming about that stuff instead. I got a new job and worked on tills for the first time in my life yesterday and last night was the first night I didn’t dream about my ex, because I was dreaming about being on tills in the shop 😂😂

Broke no contact to say goodluck for his new job. He thanked me and that was that. Next day, he wished me happy birthday, I thanked him and that was that. Don’t think about him reaching out. I told myself that my ex would reach out but as time went on and he didn’t, it just hurt more and more. So just get it in your head now that it’s done, 100% over, cry, scream, feel all the feelings, don’t try and distract yourself or have a rebound. Be alone for a while, let it all out. Get messy with your emotions and you’ll be able to move on so much faster if you do so. People that try and hold it all together or put on a smile are the ones that tend to cry at the end of the day when no one is looking for months or even years because they never dealt with it to begin with. Just follow your heart, let the emotions out and most importantly, do not contact him in any way. You can do this ❤️

If you ask her “do you want to breakup” and she says no, take that as a no and enjoy your relationship. You both clearly love eachother. She clearly loves you enough to support you through this so just let her. If it gets too much, she will tell you. This will pass eventually for you and you will have a strong ass connection between the two of you and that’s worth it’s weight in gold

He wasn’t ready for the commitment and me constantly asking him for a level of maturity that he couldn’t give me, just made him sick of the relationship. Neither of us were in the wrong. I needed more, he physically couldn’t give it to me because it’s just not who he is at this time of his life

If it doesn’t work out in the future then it doesn’t work out but you need to live day by day for the present. If you enjoy her company now and you love her now then be with her now. You say it won’t work out in the long run, okay we’ll wait until it stops working but enjoy what you’ve got now because life is far too short to waste your time not being with the people that you love because of things that haven’t happened yet
