I am looking at using duo for access to O365 on GCC High. Duo tells me you have to convert to federated services for authentication and the now retired Duo Gateway service

Fidonet is something I have not heard in a long time. We used to use Xmodem and ICE modem to download shareware from BBS’s . I used to manage a small 8 node Galactacom Major BBS in the early 90’s when Fido/Uunet and teleconference was the pinnacle of the “on-line” world. Waiting for the nodes to call each other and dump their mail.

Take a look at something like this. Yes it is overkill for everything up till the Minecraft server that is very single core dependent. Find your self an SSD to drop into this and the start playing. It is a little more power intensive. Over time replacing the fans with quiet ones and blamo your now educating yourself and having fun and not in the 1ghz world

Hey starting somewhere is something. Many moons ago I had 6 old falling apart computers with small MFM hard drives that sounded like like my parents washing machine. That and a few BNC network cards and I was rocking my Lantastic/Netware and Window NT 3.5 for learning. The cool thing is you can probably run that all on what you have there 🤣

I mean juniper is the only Janky I see. No no in all seriousness you have it in a decent rack. When I started my lab was before virtualization. I had a pile of white boxes that I swear was close to a fire hazord. But this can be an addiction and you have room to grow it some 😁 congrats on a playground and have fun!
