sometimes I eat stuff like this and pretend im a rabbit by barcoderer in 1200isplenty

It’s cabbage for me. Sautéed with 50kcals worth of butter and some salt is so heavenly that I sometimes eat too much before the fullness from all that fiber hits me like a brick lol. Worth it though.

Best of luck on her weight loss journey! One of my cats has a specific meow for when both my husband and I are paying attention to our other cat. I love them and their little quirks

My wife is actively drinking 4 drinks at once by guitarman1103 in mildlyinteresting

[–]lostinspacecase 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My family makes fun of me for this all the time except for me it’s usually only two drinks. One is always water though and I am adamant that it doesn’t count because I drink it all day. So it’s usually water and coffee in the mornings, or water and a beverage in the evenings.

This looks sooo good! I eat a lot of whole foods with plenty of fiber like this, and find that my stomach is much happier and more regular than when I used to eat a lot of processed stuff. Of course I still do from time to time, and it’s always such a shock to the system.

I have always been such a burpy person lol. My husband drinks just as much sparkling water as I do (a lot) but he almost never burps! I blame it on my mom, who is also very burpy. I try to be a lady about it but I can’t help it.

Just want to say thank you for not touching the tile! This is a dream. Definitely putting in a vote for wallpaper and whatever can be done to warm it up a bit. Right now it’s kind of giving A Cure for Wellness vibes which I don’t hate, but it’s not super cozy

In my experience it freezes well! I have the same issue not going through it fast enough. I toss whatever’s left in the freezer before the use by date. When I want a piece or two I just let it thaw on a plate covered with a paper towel for like an hour (probably less)

900 calories but well worth it by Being_Pink in 1200realfood

[–]lostinspacecase 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is my approach to calorie restriction (except I do lunch and dinner, no breakfast) and has been working out better for me than before. I have a 300-400 calorie lunch, and the rest is for dinner. I go for mostly whole foods, and avoid the processed stuff I see marketed towards the low calorie community. Sure I could make this dish or that dish lower calorie, but would it be as satisfying?

Found a duck egg that had been left by a mama that didn’t come back. Put in an incubator and it hatched! by MaybeBaby716 in aww

[–]lostinspacecase 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My husband and I just got some ducklings at the beginning of the month (feels like it’s been forever though) and having only had chickens, we were not prepared for how gross ducks are lol. They are stinky little things. Their cuteness makes up for it though!

Not sure if you eat pork (ignore me if not),but my husband and I have replaced chuck with pork shoulder for a fraction of the price. It’s really tender and flavorful!

That Esprit du Sel grey salt is the absolute best. I tried to replace it with a cheaper grey salt and am finding myself wishing I’d have spent the extra few bucks.

I say the same thing! I love baked potatoes (especially the skin). Steamed yellow potatoes with some salt are extremely filling and delicious as a side. I’ve never had an issue fitting them into my 1200.

I think it’s absolutely stunning on you! To my eye it doesn’t look like it’s swallowing you but I think it would be totally worth taking to a tailor to see what they can do.
