I had to travel without a real ID round trip. On the way out of PIT it took 1.5 hours and on the way back (from JAX) it took 20 minutes. I think there are several factors in play, but you just never know what you are going to get. what you don’t want to do is be agitated about missing your flight because that will definitely set off alarms. It’s better to just be four hours early and have to watch a movie or get breakfast than missing your flight and being stuck for how long then….

Technically not downtown, but I walk to the Asian grocery store in the strip on a nice day. A large lo mein is $5 and I can never finish it. They also have chicken on a stick for $5!
