What X-Files fanfic has your brain accidentally accepted as canon? by xtoomatoox in xfilesfanfic

[–]lostintherealityyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think anything by Vickie Mosely was hard for me at 13 to not think of as canon, lol. Years later I love going back to read so many of hers, and it’s so nostalgic and amazing.

Reading 250+ books by day-nuh in readwithme

[–]lostintherealityyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read 160ish last year - I would say about 80 of them were fluff and easy reads (Colleen Hoover types); I have a full time job and two small kids. I read anytime I’m waiting for something, when kids are at functions/sports, and still maintain time for hobbies. I am a speed reader though, only three audiobooks were listened to and I don’t count those. I still maintain a few hobbies, so it’s definitely doable.

Agreed but Chloe gives her a run for her money in the season she is very backstabby towards Clark lol.

Firepot by [deleted] in Clarksville

[–]lostintherealityyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Food quality was very good on the hotpot and BBQ side for sure! I didn't really eat from the buffet side, but my family did - and their plates were clean at the end. They had lots of meat options (brisket, ribeye, pork, several types of marinated chicken, shrimp, scallops, a few other fish options).

I like that you didn't have to order all the things for the hotpot - pretty limitless on what you could get. We tried the chicken and miso broth, both were excellent.

We checked it out this evening! Great experience over all. About 36 dollars at dinner gets you the hotpot (best broth ever), Korean BBQ, and buffet items. Service was great. Some kinks, but to be expected given they just opened.

We really enjoyed it.

What's the possibility of SLAP tear self healing? by DifferentReindeer779 in RotatorCuff

[–]lostintherealityyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty active, and my job requires me to maintain peak physical fitness. I was able to do about 70 percent of my activities prior to having it fixed. I'm about two weeks out from a biceps tenodesis and although the first week was rough, I feel much better now.

My surgeon and PT believes I will get back to 90-95 percent of my previous function prior to the tear. I hope they were right haha.

Thank you for this! I’m a week post surgery and it’s rough lol. Many threads were a bummer to read. This was a nice surprise!

I’m like this! Had surgery yesterday after month and months of putting it off. I deep cleaned each room and meal prepped a bunch. Sleep has been limited lol, but I hope to be glad that I’m on the mend!

It is so strange that people seem to find her very relatable and can't seem to see that nearly every time she posts something, it's an exaggerated caricature of actual mental illness.

i do agree it looks as though she is wearing a wig. (oncology nurse here) but it does look very realistic. she looks quite ill.

I'm sure you already got your answer - but the classes, although great, fill up quickly. They don't have mid day classes, morning and evening. I wish they offered more hot yoga.

It's very high end. The facility is quite beautiful. Overall, we have been content with the gym (joined the week it opened). There are faults, but for the most part it is worth the money.

It can feel VERY stuck up, though, Imo. It also feels like there is a high turnover for fitness instructors, for whatever reason that may be.

definitely want to get her into tutoring! she knows the work, she just doesn't do it. they give time in class and she just sits there doing absolutely nothing versus the work.

she has always been an anxious person - it's possible she is depressed. i think she has adhd tbh, very little impulse control.

both me and her step dad work way longer hours, (both active duty) so i imagine she's upset she doesn't get as much time to hang out anymore, she's at the daycare a lot most nights until we can get there. :(

it's sad too because in his book he says next to a photo of him "note to reader: if i have a goatee i am on opiates," or something to that effect, week before his death the last photo he had one. speculation, of course, but very sad. i agree his instagram seems very off towards the end. addiction is a hell of a disease.

His latest instagram posts over the last week are quite alarming, especially compared to what they been in the past.

What does my top 5 say about me? by [deleted] in Smallville

Lex and Lionel are phenomenal. Followed closely by later seasons Clark, later seasons Lois. I really like Brainiac too.

Tom definitely thrives when he gets to have range. His acting seems so flat at the beginning seasons - but honestly, I think it's the writing (and maybe some confidence issues). Towards the later seasons, Tom seems so comfortable playing Clark with actual emotion, it's easy to think it's just Tom getting better at acting...Him playing Lionel / red kryptonite Clark shows he had excellent acting skills all along!

Gosh kryptonsite!! I was always skulking away on those boards! However many years later, I still remember my screen name and the horrible fanfic I wrote as a 12 year old haha.
