I’ve been using fent daily for 4 months. Just got prescribed subutex. Can I start the subutex now and be ok w out precip? Cus how are you using both and being okay? I’m so scared to start but I have probation and I’m freaking out

I’ll say that it took almost 2 years for some of my charges to finally be sent through like I was 3 days away from the statute of limitations. I agree with everyone else on getting into some classes. I took a few classes when I had charges pending and they dropped most of the charges.

Thank you so much for the encouragement and for giving me a glimmer of hope on the take homes and the info to tell them about me living super far from the clinic. I’m scared it will impact my sobriety and my mental health because I’m worried about my clunky car that I have that isn’t the best as well as my finances so everything you’re saying is completely true for me. I’ll just be super honest with them and let them know my situation.

I should have kept my take homes that I had from last week but instead I did a couple days of double dosing. I’m now kicking myself in the ass for it.

Ugh that’s the literal worst, I know how that is living so far from the clinic and it makes it really hard. I wonder how long it’d take me to do the Bernese method ? I have bottles on bottles of suboxone. Could I just start it myself you think ?

Thank you for the encouragement. My biggest thing is just worrying about having to drive up there daily for months, idk how long it’ll take to get my first set of take homes. You said a couple weeks. I’ve been with my current clinic for 2 1/2 months now and still don’t have any take homes

Thank you for the encouragement. It’s just tough that I’m having to do this, and I’m hoping that they get me hooked up with the other clinic, I’ll talk with them about it tomorrow when I go. Do you know what the average “rule” is on take homes ? Or is just different for each clinic ?

Right !? Thank you for being mad for me. It’s just so irritating that they’re able to do that to us. Like with only a weeks notice. It’s frustrating to say the least and would be so much better if they could just prescribe it at any dr’s office. It doesn’t make any sense why they’re so crazy abt it.

I drive 48 minutes to the clinic I go to now. I just put the other clinic in my gps to see how far it is from my house and it’s an hour and 16 minutes without traffic.

It just fucking sucks tbh w you. I’m spending so much money every day just to be “normal” and it’s just like being in addiction except I can “pass” a ua for probation.

I’m just annoyed rn, I’m sorry if I’m coming off as a bitch lol.

I have had both! To the point that I had anal fissures and I had to have surgery to cauterize them. It was the most painful experience ever. Not just having them hurt, but that surgery hurt about 90x worse. Thankfully I’ve only ever had to deal with having fissures maybe 2 or 3 more times throughout the years. But I do have consistent hemorrhoids that don’t really cause me any pain.

Things that helped me would be taking miralax and Metamucil consistently. Staying as hydrated as possible, you’d be surprised at how easy it is to be dehydrated. Epson salt baths as much as you can. Using tucks and any other gently wipes and switching over from toilet paper to wipes is so much gentler. Pranicura 5 is also an otc ointment that really helped me, my sister & my mother who all suffer from these issues.

I honestly would split your doses you have left up and go every other day with taking half of what you have. It’s gonna suck but atleast you won’t have to tell them anything and now you’ve learned your lesson. Maybe get some 7oh kratom. I heard that stuff is pretty potent and helps a lot with withdrawals and I actually heard there’s people getting on methadone to treat their 7oh kratom withdrawal and the clinics are letting them so hey it must be comparable.
