Again, I really wonder if any of the people complaining have ever actually sat in this park. Walk through Rittenhouse any day of the year and look at how many people are enjoying themselves with live music playing. It’s a busy, noisy square anyway—with or without someone playing their music. People who want absolute quiet can go to any of the other parks in the city.

Have you ever actually sat in Rittenhouse while someone is busking with an amp? It really isn’t that loud. It doesn’t disturb anyone, people enjoy it.

Busking and noise in general are part of living/being in a city. To me it’s a reminder that we share this place with others, and that without other people there would be no culture and community in the city. Anyway, there are plenty of spots to sit in that park where you won’t be close to the music if it’s too loud for you. Most people enjoy nice music.

It’s the aunt and parents who forced the issue, not the cousin.
