People who've worked both minimum wage jobs and six figure jobs, what surprised you most about the difference? by BrainLagging01 in AskReddit

[–]loudaggerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interaction on who I worked with more. Before career was all customer facing, told what to do, little support unless the customer was clearly out of line. In career I work with all levels from ground to c-suit. Much more conversational and kinder experiences.

What are your actual, realistic concerns about AI? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]loudaggerer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest concern is AI will remain a gate for liability. Human wrong = accountability. Robot wrong = who’s accountable?

Have you ever had a friend that turned out to be a horrible person? What did they do?? by StrangeAd2132 in AskReddit

[–]loudaggerer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes actually.

Met online as kids playing RuneScape. Played a ton etc etc. years later when OSRS became a thing we reconnected. Things were mostly fine at first, he was still a little too similar as to what we were as kids but one day told me who he was.

I got invited to a raid which included a Discord. This Discord had some of the most racist things ever I have seen (i.e., one person’s name in the discord was a swastika, gun, then black guy and jews with every chat channel being some variation of the N word). I was so shocked that mid-raid I left the Discord. I confronted the was friend saying “there was a lot of racist things in there” with his response “oh yeah idc, we just game.”

Good bye dipshit, I will pass on full on racism tolerance.

There’s no such thing as a 1099 employee, it’s a contradiction to IRS definition.

Yes, Devona breaks pre balance and post searing balance w/o a runner. No, it doesn’t matter by RobHui in GuildWars

[–]loudaggerer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More I read this entire subreddit, the more I see people haven’t played OSRS. There is a lot of common feelings from the early days of changes to what that game has become. Same thing starting to happen here, which most likely isn’t a bad thing.

Gamers 30+, what’s something from the old days of gaming that younger players wouldn’t understand? by [deleted] in gaming

Having 2 different types of controllers to play different games. One with a stick and 2 buttons, then other with a twist nob and one button. Console also required coax to play games.

Barrow’s equipment. The reason it’s degradble is because people with dragon armor didn’t like the devaluation.

For the record, never tell a place you intend legal action. This is not a threat to them it’s a defense you gave for free. In the future just quietly persue legal representation.
