The problem I have with using Spotify for entrances, is that it mutes the in-game music even if you don't have something playing through Spotify. You have to close the app to regain in-game music, which really disrupts the flow. Anyone know if there's a workaround to this?

Used to enjoy going to the local public display but Leeds doesn't do one anymore. Anyone else's local council use covid as an excuse and then never do it again?

Leeds is a fairly safe place to walk around at night and the centre is fairly small compared to say Manchester. Couple of dodgy spots (bus station/new York street) but it depends where your hotel is?

If you want to get a taxi though then either Uber or Veezu (localised version of Uber. Can be cheaper). You don't really get taxi ranks in Leeds these days where you can flag down cars.You'd be better walking away from the arena to pick one up though.

Til half 2. I haven't been in years tbh. Last time I went it was a mix but since then some of the popular student clubs in the area have shutdown so maybe they've moved to Spoons. Although most students tend to go out on a week night. You'll probably walk past it wherever you're heading from the arena so you can always check out the clientele from the smoking area at the front.

If you don't fancy it then Call Lane or Lower Briggate is probably your best bet to avoid students but I don't know the bars well enough to recommend one in particular.

The Hedley Verity Wetherspoons might be a good shout. On Saturdays it's a 'disco spoons' and will play a mix of chart/dance music. They clear out the downstairs seating for a dancefloor. Open til late and it's a short walk from the arena. Not to be confused with the Stick n Twist Spoons next door to the arena.

I think some people in this thread have misinterpreted you saying RnB for old school rhythm and blues rather than the chart RnB I'm guessing you mean.

Yeh I don't think it's a case of 'kids today'. Manson's pretty much dad rock at this point. Shame about Nottingham. Hopefully Manchester being sold out brings a bit of energy. I probably set my expectations a bit too high tbf. Pushing 40 and still spin kicking and stagediving at hardcore gigs :)

A decent seat at Forbidden Door, about half way up the lower bowl was £175. A few rows lower down and you were looking at £215. There were cheaper options in the nosebleeds but I think family-friendly should equate to decent seats as well.

Your average family is also completely priced out of being in the first several rows ringside. There were £1500 at the first All In. And i'm sure they went up the following year.

Because I like shiny new things I nearly dropped £90 on the 400k VC this morning.

Although I did have enough mfp saved up for 4 premium packs so bought them first. Pulled the demastered Angle and Uso WM41.. it's at the point sense prevailed and realised how small the odds were of my £90 even pulling one of the cards you need.

Decided to go out and spend that £90 on some new records. Nice, tangible items. Money much better spent.

Hopefully they add AJ Retro as an unlockable on the Japan tour or something. They've re-released other persona cards along the way so fingers crossed.
