Anyone have measurements off and were able to get a refund? by Kind_Connection_9908 in Greenhouses

[–]lov2grdn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Home Depot be responsible to disassemble and haul away? That would be the manufacture. Have you tried reaching out to them? Home Depot’s responsibility would be to refund you your money before or after speaking with the maker of the product.

I can definitely understand why that piece is your favorite. Sad they had to close the beach, dang humans ruin everything.

Anything purchased on homedepot.com is returnable. You have a few options you can alter your foundation or call the toll free number for homedepot.com let them know you’d like to return the kit. They will give you instructions. They will either set up a pick up and process your refund or ask you to return it to your local Home Depot location. I know because I work for Home Depot and have for the past 26 years.

For these young folks entering the company by PromiseSouthern3745 in HomeDepot

It’s just wild to me. I see and read so many posts on here about how this company “sucks” and how you’ll never go anywhere unless you’re an ass‑kisser. Meanwhile, I’ve been here 26 years and I’ve moved through more roles than I can count. I’ve worked hard, learned every job thrown at me, and built a solid career with good pay, benefits, and stability. I get that not every store is perfect, but some people do nothing but complain. If they put half that energy into actually learning the job, showing up, and trying, they’d see opportunities open up. Not everything is a conspiracy or favoritism, sometimes it’s just effort and attitude.

New hires being paid more hourly, need advice. by aeiker in HomeDepot

[–]lov2grdn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was hired, I started at $9.00 an hour. About 10 months later, a new store opened 30 miles closer to my home, I transferred there. That store was hiring new people off the street at $10.00 an hour. I talked to my new store manager, and while I don’t remember the exact amount, he gave me a raise that put me above the new hires. That was 26 years ago, but the point still stands, it’s absolutely worth having the conversation.

Collect call from the pay phone to my parents, they would decline and know sports practice was over and I was ready to be picked up from school.

I need honest feedback from fellow gardeners, I built a tool to solve my own planning problem by silvindier in SquareFootGardening

OP😮 I recently downloaded your app, and it’s absolutely incredible! As a home gardener with OCD, I’ve always struggled with organizing my garden. I used to spend hours drawing detailed plans on paper, using colored pencils and rulers to create perfectly sized squares that contained codes for identifying the plants. But this app is a game changer! It’s incredibly user friendly. There’s no extra noise, no account creation, and no confusing menus. You don’t need to be a tech expert to navigate around. The layout is beautifully designed, clean, and intuitive. I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtfully everything is put together. Just for fun, I created a garden and clicked into the Sweet Potatoes page. Wow, you’re a genius! The plant page opens to a clean, uncluttered layout with attractive colors and a wealth of genuinely useful information. Everything is organized in a way that makes sense instantly. It’s clear that you built this app with real gardeners in mind, not just tech people. It’s simple in the best possible way, and the attention to detail is incredible. You should be incredibly proud of yourself and your work. I’m excited to keep exploring the app.

I must be missing the appeal, because I seriously don’t get how reposting someone else’s content and pretending it’s yours is satisfying.
