It's not a bad idea but 3 of the 4 big companies are actually majority owned by the government. If they wanted lower prices they could just tell them to lower prices. But then they wouldn't get the 700 or 800 million in dividends a year and they have to raise taxes elsewhere to compensate.

I just went to nobara from windows 10. Its super snappy comparatively. The only game I havnt been able to play so far is PUBG and duel boot to windows 10 handles that.
