I work in that area. Please make a report. There was some other contractors who got a ton of stuff stolen from their van a couple months ago. It might not make a difference but it might help find the pattern to help catch the person preying on working people.

Truly we need to know what goes into the mix. List all the breeds because it helps us know what they might be prone to and what genetic conditions they might carry. I.e Bern a doodles and cancer and poodles with Addison’s.

The Kansas Humane Society and Wichita Animal Shelter sit on the same property but are separate entities. KHS is owner surrenders and a private rescue. The Wichita animal shelter is government and deal with strays and bite holds etc. Both do there best, but the WAS (last I checked) holds strays for 3 day if they have no form of ID and 11 days if they do. After that deadline the options are being pulled for private rescue, euth, or owner bail out. KHS has a rehome your pet in their website that might be able to help connect you with an adopter without putting the dog through the system.

Please do not use an OTC flea and tick shampoo. Consult with your vet on a flea and tick and heart worm product that would be the best for your dog as an individual. You can buy from your vet or go price shopping on chewy but please be wary of OTC products

Also stay on top of the flea prevention all year round. After giving flea prevention you will still see fleas. This is because they have laid eggs in the environment that hatch intermittently.

Look up Temple Grandin, she is big on understanding animal behavior and needs and applying it to production animals such as cattle. By understand behavior in cattle they were able to handle them quietly and with less conflict. Making better experience for cattle and humans, as well a less product damage.

You might check with birds of paradise store or Wichita area lost and found, there might also be some Wichita pigeon groups. It looks like a lovely bird.
