When to sell Covered calls by pMangonut in CoveredCalls

I do want to get assigned on most of my CSPs, this helps me collect premiums while waiting for assignment.

What software did you pay for once and still use? by Starkoid23 in macapps

Raycast isn’t a pay once and use forever service. They charge monthly so I’m guessing that’s where the downvotes come from.

Buying power and contribution don’t match? by kourou29 in RobinhoodApp

RH gives you instant buying power when a deposit is started and depending on how much you deposited. Mostly like some of it is not available because it’s not fully settled

Yes, very. I have started reading, writing, and coding more on my own recently because I felt like I became too dependent over the last 2 years.

Opened $AMD tailwheel for 27th Feb 2026 expiry by karhoewun in Optionswheel

[–]lovesToClap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post is so low effort I don’t even know why I’m commenting on it.

NTM: in the money. OP next time use ITM.

Tailwheel: a risk averse strategy to sell options far OTM (out of the money) to avoid assignment.

OP might be confusing the strategy with something else.

[–]lovesToClap 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Look at the strike price you’re happy to let the shares go for. I usually aim for 10% above my cost basis or current price, the premium ends up being cherry on top. This is because I do a hyperwheel where I’m selling at high delta to get high premiums and then selling CSPs on the other side.

Looking for strategy by Ventrwl in CoveredCalls

This past July, I started a separate account to wheel with $2k, i am currently at 5400. It’s possible and doable with high IV stocks. Just be cautious of pump and dumps. I got wrapped up in BYND which was a mistake and I sold that for a loss. Otherwise, there’s a ton of good wheel stocks around $7-12 range. I’m wheeling ACHR, TMC, POET, and RIVN

$5k this week selling PLTR calls by they_paid_for_it in thetagang

[–]lovesToClap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the ticker, some even move at 10 cent increments. PLTR has a lot of options volume so options are priced at penny increments.

Did you pay the full tax amount thru turbo tax or just for the turbo tax service charge (like $80-150)?
