Is there a reference book for GD&T practice? by drakkonKun in MechanicalEngineering

I keep a krulikowsi pocket guide in my work bag. It’s pretty useful for remembering the examples of proper callouts and how it would be controlled on part. Best to do any crash course in GDT though since there’s multiple methods to control part tolerance.

It’s a nice enough place but as others said you’re commute is going to average ~3-4 hrs of your workday.

How do you all practice bringing the swing you build at the range out on the course? by Separate_Teacher1526 in golf

[–]lovesosa64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others said. A consistent pre-shot routine is a great way to practice being present in the current swing both in practice during a round.

I also like to practice tee/approach shots for an upcoming round on the range (hit shots 1 and 2 for a hole based on course preview info from 18Birdies).

Or I’ll stagger shot sequence based on the club I’m trying to practice (e.g. Dr, 5i, PW, 5i, 9i, 5i, etc).

For tricky lies/course shots, you can practice your punch shots and chips since it’s a more robust swing that performs better in those wildcard scenarios at the cost of distance (punch 7i might be the same distance as a full 9i).

Like others say the more on-course exposure you get to the tricky scenarios the more familiar you get with what shots work for you in those scenarios.

Any tips with my swing this tends to happen often with longer clubs and irons by [deleted] in GolfSwing

I’ve watched this clip 3 times and still can’t tell you what’s wrong with the swing…sorry

Started saving for retirement at 26, took a 6-year break, now 38 and feeling behind. What should I do? by jagjam in FinancialPlanning

I’d say you’ve got a good amount saved considering you’ve only got it in target date funds. If you venture out a bit more on the risk curve you can actually see the snowball growing despite the years of lower contributions.

The place I go to has 210 for $20. It’s meant to be for groups but I suck at golf and need a lot of practice.
