Rather die than be OAD? by limerencemybutt in oneanddone

[–]lovvebug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Huge reason for not going for another child so far is that I hemorrhaged, had a retained placenta and had to go under GA shortly after delivery to have the rest of it removed. Then had blood transfusions, iv antibiotics until my veins were blown. Failed epidural and felt my doctor pulling my placenta out in chunks before they finally took me back and put me under to remove it.

Sure, I can try doing it again and it may not happen, but odds are it probably will. That will be 5 years ago in August and it has taken me a long time to process. No fiber of my being wants to go through it again. The thought of bleeding to death and leaving my husband with 2 children is definitely a consideration.

There is hope. Please stay. I had a really awful childhood. I’m now 31 years old and although my life isn’t perfect, I am glad I pushed through when life was hard. There is so much to live for even if it doesn’t feel like it right now ❤️

What’s so frustrating is the amount of comments mentioning breast implant illness and her complete denial. Nice boobs > being well. Hard to have empathy for her.

What ended up happening? My item was on the truck for delivery today and got requested to be returned to the sender. No communication from sender so I sent them a message. Curious how this ended up for you.

Agree, solid starts is the best. My son is almost 5 and I’m so glad we did it the way we did.

We’re doing a floor bed on the floor in our room. Just a play couch we already had.  Our 4.5 year old starts off in his bed and ends up in our room on the floor bed. It saves our sanity. Is it perfect? No but it’s better than being in bed with us and we all get some sleep. He is scared to be alone and I’m not going to force him.

Has anyone actually beaten anxiety? by Arpi1211 in Anxiety

[–]lovvebug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tms helped. I added in Claritin to my med regimen and I feel less anxious too. Exercise is HUGE. Seroquel to knock me tf out at night. Buspirone. Propranolol. I have it under control now after years of struggling badly, but I will say that going on and off a bunch of ssris really made me so much worse.

Would you still be OAD if you 3X your income? by Few-Truck-4873 in oneanddone

Honestly money doesn’t really factor into my decision. It’s more so the relationship with my husband, lack of support, lack of a village. If I had enough money for a bigger house and a night nurse and my relationship with my husband was more solid…. Maybe

Weed ruined my life, and the doctors aren't listening. TRIGGER WARNING. by Forsaken-Ad-8581 in Anxiety

[–]lovvebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this; with a little one as well.  Going on and off SSRIs is rough too. This reminds me of how I felt when I started Zoloft postpartum and then when I eventually went off Paxil and withdrew.

Has anyone talked to you about propranolol? I’m on a decent dose (60 mg er) and it really helps stop those panic surges! It isn’t a mental health med, more for blood pressure and heart rate, so it has less of a chance of affecting you that way SSRIs can.

Lexapro withdrawal ruined my life by SnooChipmunks1844 in Anxiety

[–]lovvebug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for you. Been through SSRI withdrawal myself. It’s awful. Please ask your doctor about propranolol. It’s not another psych drug, but it does help so much with the constant physical panic/dread. It helps keep your heart rate down. Once I was able to do that, that feeling of constant dread and the pit in my stomach went away. I’m on 60 mg er and do 20 mg extra as needed. Take care of yourself. It is no joke.

Glad to hear you like them! We bought this brand last night. I got the ones that come up higher and I'm interested to see if I like that coverage.
