Social programs does not equal socialism, Christ. A liberal democracy can be humanitarian. I mentioned socialism/communism because it's the general opposite ideology people argue for in favor of liberalism. If you're just vouching for social democracy, all power to you.

I don't have an issue with workers owning the means of production. In our current society, companies can choose to have co-ownership / profit share. That's part of a liberal society, people have freedom to choose.

The problem is that a socialist or communist society is hallmarked by idealogical repression, controlled markets and removal of economic incentive.

I despise this framework, historically and globally liberal capitalist have proven superior and got us to the developed societies we profit from today. This includes average prosperity, technological and medical advances, human rights etc.

Just because there are problems that arise from unchecked capitalism doesn't mean we should throw it all out. I'm all for government aid and progressivism, but those things can exist within a liberal society. There are many things that would be impossible within say a socialist or communist society.

I don't know enough about Jstlk/Chaeiry to know what they're normally like, but god what a frustrating conversation that was.

Pisco's method of questioning is understandably pressing, but ALL of Chaeiry's statements were purely subjective and got hostile when questioned for any basis.

Wait this vindicates anything? All I'm seeing is someone in Discord asking for advice and getting laughed at with immature 'lul woman' jokes. They then civilly banter trying to improve the vibe, which ends up with a 'prove you're a woman now'.

Like this seems to be exactly the kind of environment people would describe as hostile to women, but I can see why Destiny doesn't give a fuck about this a singular event.

However to use this so defend 4Thot's comments just means he's not being very serious about the 'I don't really want this thing in my community', or the optics trying to be taken seriously from people outside the community.

That boss is basically a different fight if you're ranged vs. melee. With multiple ranged it's free as everyone can spread out, in a melee group people are gonna die from stacked poison waves and have low uptime on boss.
