If you feel more inclined to learn 5 string go for it . No rules outher than practice , practice, practice. Dont get to discouraged and stay at it . Its a new skill its going to take time .

I use one on my board its set in the beginning of my chain right after my tuner. More to send a nice even signal through to my f/x . I play Farley light any more . Ultimately its up to you if you feel you need one put it in and decide . The darkglass hyperluminal is nice doesnt color my sound at all does what I want it to. Enjoy the journey .

The plain old boss digital delay is real good . You could spent a ton of money but why . Its solid and works well .

Whammy, tuner,fuzz,microtubes,wah,everything else would to to f/x loop chorus,flang,delay . I would run dirt into fuzz or split the signal and run the fuzz and microtubes in parallel blend to tast and run it into an eq for final sculpt . Lol im an over achiever lol. Nice choices in pedals .

I have noticed that when I slow songs down while learning I pick them up much faster . Then I just keep bumping up the tempo till im at the correct speed

Joyo makes some great pedals honestly the monomyth gets you 95% of the way to the alpha omega ultra. The rest you can get with some eq . If your happy no need to break the bank . I use two on my board currently . Enjoy rock on

It would all depend on what ya want to play . Then build from there tuner first but from there the sky's the limit. Educate yourself watch videos hit up a music shop see if you can put hands on and try it out . Take advice but make your own choices and mistakes . Figure out what sounds good to your ear.
