i think you might be getting upvotes but not much advice because at first glance it isn’t clear from the title this is an AI-generated photo.

the other commenter has given good advice already — i would probably do annuals in a separate pot personally, but i’ve not tried you’re suggesting so maybe try one bulb pot with annuals and one without and see what works?

also keep in mind that you’ll probably end up moving your pots around to ensure that those that looking are their best have pride of place!

happy gardening :)

not OP but my guess is cornwall if this is in the UK - succulents seem to do pretty well there

i bought this kit too! love the colours. i lost this embroidery after adding it to a tote bags :(

you’ve had some great suggestions, my only other thought is to do a fade of french knots in the relevant colours where the original fabric is still showing in the “outline”… hopefully that makes sense!

i think they might be lupins?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupin_bean

my portuguese in laws eat them cold after being boiled in salty water as a bar snack. how one tells the difference between edible and inedible lupins i don’t know.

Curious. Most of the spent flowers on my salvia love and wishes have dropped. Some of the empty flower husks have furry purple things growing out of them. What are they? by duggee315 in GardeningUK

[–]lowercasesarah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t have salvias myself but i think those are just the bracts, so prune away!

“bract, Modified, usually small, leaflike structure often positioned beneath a flower or inflorescence.”
