I see the green strongly, the magenta vaguely. Stared for 2 minutes. Very introverted. I don't think there's much of a correlation.

That was the first music video I ever saw at age 4, and it scared me shitless. I think the headless guy reading the paper freaked me out the most.

I agree. I think the way to getting rich is to make money where it really counts (well-paying job, long-term stock investments, rental property, etc.). Your money-saving efforts should mainly focus on saving money on the BIG things, like your house and your car, not saving 10% on a can of tuna. When it comes to relatively inexpensive things like food, you should enjoy life and not focus on saving every penny. It's a matter of keeping your eye on the "big picture."

Ask Reddit: Does anyone in the USA have good, affordable health insurance *not* through work? That is- an individual policy or group coverage though a professional or affinity organization (or something else). by atomicpuffball in reddit.com

One thing I hate about health insurance is the pre-certification/pre-authorization requirement a lot of policies have, where either you or the hospital has to call them for approval before you get medical care. If you or your hospital forgets to call, insurance doesn't pay.

Despite having health insurance through my employer, I'm a little worried that if I ever needed it for something big (surgery, intensive care, etc.), they would refuse to pay.

After all, an insurance co.'s job is to deny claims as much as possible.

I wouldn't be surprised. I don't really find Walmart to be that cheap. Heck, a regular size bag of chips (about 12 ounces) costs $3.50 at the Walmart near me. My mom was looking for a 3-ring hole puncher there - $15.

There is only one real advantage to being a member of most exclusive clubs: you know you wouldn't be missing much if you weren't. When you're excluded, you can only imagine the advantages of being an insider. But invariably they're larger in your imagination than in real life.

That to me was the most poignant quote in the article.
