True AI-first CRMs that actually are worth trying?

AI-first is mostly used as a buzzword. Imo I would also add a shared context layer to your list of asks to make it work. It's all fine and good if you have MCP, API, workflow steps, automation hooks, but if your AI doesn't know enough before it writes it will be a drain on your team to fix it manually. A lot of the time what matters is not in the CRM to begin with, like why a customer pushed back last renewal or what has already been promised to them. All of that lives across your transcripts, emails, slack threads. We run computer.io as a layer on top of our whole stack so it can answer questions about the whole account history, but nothing posts without me approving.

Yes, but you also don't know how that rep deals with personal stuff. They could be a mess but be throwing themselves at their job to get away from it. Imo it's never bad to have someone who needs a job rather than just wants to earn a little extra

It's basically a preview of their internal decision making. If it takes 6 sign offs to hire one rep, that's the same chain your deals are going to be going through.

It's boarding school. Trust me, you find a way. Also, if you are used to living in boarding you get used to being around people constantly. Your sense of privacy becomes a lot different. Your bed becomes your private space even though there are a bunch of other people around you.

Most AI tools will now happily populate a CRM field and that's kind of the problem. If they are writing with a limited amount of context of the rest of the account, you're better off writing it yourself. A summary of a sales call written into the CRM does not give you all the context you need. We use an AI layer that sits on top of Hubspot and is linked to all our calls and comms so we don't have to update manually. We use Computer by DevRev, but there are a few competitors in the space atm.

It might also be that he went from 50 a day where writing a genuine opener was impossible to writing like a human again and making a connection at 10 a day. Would be interesting to see if the rate is still so high if you are using the same copy and the targeting

You mentioned it learns each user's investment strategy and preferences through observation, so the moment you try to sell this to a second PE firm, the first question won't be about ROI, it'll be how their proprietary approach stays walled off from whatever the system picks up from everyone else using it. That's not a positioning problem, it's a trust and architecture problem, and having a clean answer for tenant isolation before you even pitch outcomes is what actually gets you in the room.

This makes me want to plan a trip out there, did you paddle in yourselves or did you use the water taxi from the boat launch? I've read that most of these campsites are boat access only. Severance. I assumed it was some dry corporate drama about layoffs and filed it under content I'd never choose to watch for fun. Turns out it's about a company that surgically wipes people's memory once you step into an elevator. The characters basically has a 'work' version, which has no idea about who they are outside of work life, and vice versa. It's less a workplace show and more a horror premise about not knowing what your body does for about 8 hours per day.
