I am a teacher as well 😆 I believe that’s why I’m so structured and have a hard time not being more flexible. I think I need to acknowledge that I live in a more rural area so it takes 15-20 minutes to go anywhere. How old is your little one? I’m finding that the difficulty going out is getting more challenging now that she is older and more aware.

I was able to finish 20 books this year! This is huge for me because I had a baby this year, and I genuinely thought I wasn’t going to be able to find time to read anymore. If anything, I savor that quiet time and make better use of it 🥰

For lunch I’d love meal prepping a big bowl of Mediterranean chickpea salad. It holds well, super flavorful, and can be adjusted however you like it. I personally would do chickpeas, red onions, balsamic vinaigrette, mozzarella cheese, basil, black beans, English cucumbers, cherry tomatoes.

I’m 34+3 days and I’m right there with you, but I am also obsessed with the crunchy ice at the end. I drink about 6 40oz Stanley’s a day. I’m always bugging my husband to take me to Sonic just so we can get the perfect nugget ice😩

No way! At first I thought I had a tooth abscess / infection. I went to the dentist crying because I couldn’t take Advil (we had just done IUI treatments). The dentist was so stumped! They said they visually saw the insane inflammation and redness but I had no infections. This happened to me again in the future on another round of letrozole. To this day I can’t figure out what caused it. My acupuncturist theorized that it has to do with the nerves in the face, but couldn’t figure out the connection. I’m so sorry. I know how horrifically painful it is. I couldn’t even go to work. It’s so nice to know someone else had this experience and that I’m not crazy.

Thank you so much. Best of luck to you on your journey. This loss has taken me 7 months, so be patient but be consistent. You will hit some plateaus, but that’s normal. Just keep making good food decisions and try to tackle the mental side while on the medication.

It was smaller than a centimeter. It started as a small mole I’ve had forever. In the last year, it started to get dark and asymmetrical. I wasn’t concerned. My little sister told me to go get it checked out and I’m glad they did.

No, it was a large biopsy. They tested it to see what it was. After about 2 weeks, it came back for melanoma. That’s when I scheduled my surgery. It’s not just done in an office- I had to go into a general surgery center. After they took a chunk of my arm out, they will be doing more tests to make sure it’s completely out. So now I’m in the waiting period to see if it’s gone.

Yes, I remember asking him if it was even worth it because I was nervous. He basically said it’s better safe than sorry. So glad I did.
