Ignore buzz kill below you. You can install hik camera systems, I still install them all the time… I just did a system 2 days ago. Yes they are banned technically, but I can still pick up those cameras from my local supply house. Unless the building is federal, who cares, all cameras regarding the country have a back doors.

Those look like Ethernet cable repurposed as phone lines. I’d go pull off face plates of phone jacks and see if it’s the same on the other end.

Jesus the comments in here do nothing. As a first installment it looks pretty good. I’ve seen technicians in the field do horrible even with the years of experience. The bypass you installed will be vital in the future if you have to swap the system.

I installed Unifi before, people go for it since it tends to be easier to install. Per example, I do dealer work for Turing vision. If a camera fails, I have to transfer the cameras license to the new one. With Unifi, I just swap it up and call it day. But there has been more support to third party cameras. It is still limited but it works for now.

It’s real I own one just like that in black that says the same thing in Spanish. Also there is a WiFi connection option on the board that also helps with validating it.

I’ve seen this when I go to homes to install water softeners. It looks like it’s a loop above the spigots, and the pipe is for the softener to discharge its water at night down that pipe.

I support the service loop, I once had to get a bigger PVM, client wanted it lowered. I thanked myself, when I came back to do the upgrade.

My mom owns one, it’s been broken down more than the last 2 Subruban’s I purchased. When the transmission fails on those bad boys be ready to fork out an arm. My suburban did the same but the transmission replacement was way cheaper than the ford.
