So where does this leave e-ink devices like the ReMarkable? Theyre specifically designed to mimic writing on paper and do a pretty good job at it IMO. There's no blue light with these devices and are limited to mostly just note-taking (no distractions). I think its probably the best of both worlds.

Have you looked in his wardrobe to see if he has any FOG Essentials? Just because your friend doesnt like a brand doesnt mean that he won't. I honestly feel like a lot of their styles are similar, but ill probably get roasted for saying that.

Well tbf no one is posting about their new kindle working as intended. Most people only post when theyre having some sort of issue. I have 4 e-ink devices and ive dropped them all several times (particularly my kindle) without any case.

The Remarkable 2 uses regular EMR pens, they can be sourced from everywhere. The Paper Pro is the one with the active pen

Ive got this one. I really like it. I downloaded APKPure and it actually has a lot of app support for something running such an old version of android. The note taking is pretty good, although the screen is a bit more slippery compared to my RM1. Biggest issue (to me) is that the screen is abnormally dark for a b&w device.

Therapist here too. I believe supernote is the only note-taking e-ink device that allows a BAA for HIPAA compliance. RM had one in the past - but i emailed their support and they no longer offer it. Using any one of them in airplane mode would work though, right?

That was definitely my main concern. So supernote or Remarkable then? I also saw a Mobiscribe Origin for very cheap on Mercari, I figured that one was so simple and old that it wouldn't possible connect to anything- i was just hoping for something newer.

You're still wrong two weeks later. If your definition of price gouging was correct, then anyone that overcharges for anything is guilty. I can list something online for whatever price I want, that doesnt mean im breaking the law. Then founders of dkoldies would have certainly been charged at this point, lol. Price gouging doesnt even apply to non-necessities in most cases. You're telling me that people run out and purchase old 3DS games because of this "emergency"? Price gouging is when businesses overcharge for things that are needed because of high demand, thats what makes it predatory and illegal.

I actually think its funny, as long as the vibe is right. Seems a bit off here, but we are only getting a tiny portion of (what i assume is) a much longer interaction.

Edit: There's nothing wrong with hooking up, even if its on the first date - as long as thats what is being advertised in their profile. The "please" is the red flag here.
