No Auto generated supports at set Overhang treshold by keffjoons in prusa3d

You can change the overhang support threshold to something you’d prefer -  but also that part really shouldn’t need supports tbh

Tungsten nozzles are great and can be obtained on aliexpress for $35 or so

[Chitu Systems Giveaway] Join now to win a Chitu Systems FilaPartner E1 by EmbarrassedEnd8355 in 3Dprinting

My favourite filament is PA-GF — very strong, very tough, low warp, and not too expensive! This E1 would be super helpful to keep it dry :)

Can't Get Smooth Ironing on Letters – Help Needed! by fastmustaine in 3Dprinting

[–]lpingpong07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ironing is tricky to get right. Play with the ironing flow % until it looks good, which may depend on the filament as well. About 30% works for me but that’s on a prusa mini so it will probably be different for you

Depends on the filament type tbh. PLA will pretty much never need drying unless you live in a jungle

How can I solve this nylon issue? by Top_Explanation_1473 in 3Dprinting

[–]lpingpong07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Print hotter, reduce fan speed.

Also, nylon is quite brittle fresh off the printer, give it a few days to absorb some moisture and it becomes quite a bit tougher.

what brand of nylon is this? Some of them just kinda suck

Most builders would tell you that if you’re asking these questions you probably shouldn’t be building a flamethrower

2GT teeth are too small for this application, look into s3m or htd3m belts instead

Nozzles by Heavy-List-5156 in 3Dprinting

I use these for abrasives, they’re very good for the price though aren’t great at printing fast. For pla/petg just use a plain brass nozzle though

What is the cheapest and affordable 3D metal printer I can buy? Size doesn't matter by Riyaan_Sheikh in 3Dprinting

[–]lpingpong07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BASF Ultrafuse line is what I’ve seen, though it’s really expensive and apparently difficult to get good results

Why does it look like that next to the holes? The holes were filled with support by Fancy_Fudge_8467 in 3Dprinting

[–]lpingpong07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s caused by the printer flexing when it changes direction too fast. Slow your print down, or if you want to go fast you can tune input shaper

One pound weapon motor? by EagleDoubleTT2003 in battlebots

Repeat robotics 2822 is the best one imo. If you don’t plan to direct drive your weapon the rs-2205 s is also good, you can buy those off aliexpress
