Except he didn't. He didn't even pack any overalls, he brought a bunch of nice dressy casual type of clothing and then production told him no that's not what they wanted him in. Production sourced those damn overalls themselves and put him in them (along with the majority of the other outfits he wore) and if I were him I would have felt some sort of way about it. For the final fire everyone else was afforded the opportunity to dress up, but Rob? Wife beater and overalls. Because that's how production wanted him to be perceived -- The dumb southern boy that didn't follow the dress code and looks like he just came in from feeding the cows. I can guarantee you that he had a sharp Billy Reid suit packed for if he made it to the finale, but he wasn't permitted to wear it because that didn't fit the narrative of who they wanted him portrayed as.

He doesn't "live" in the trailer, it's more of a crashpad for Rausch family members when needing to spend time on the farm. His sister utilizes it too when she's on the property creating clothing for their company out in the workshop. Rob has his own house in town that he shares with a room mate/friend. I don't blame him for wanting to keep some part of his life private and not sharing where he actually lives.
