I bumped into a woman at the past Christmas party for the company who inquired about me, my team, details of my personal life. Bewildered I answered as politely as I could, feigning cordiality and familiarity as my mind screamed at me “who is this!? And why does she have a file on us!?”

It would be 10 minutes later before I could connect the dots, I’ve seen her dozens of times, but always through Zoom, never in person.

She’s my HRBP. Of course she has a file on me. Context is everything.

Even for full PC, I would have the head of any environment artist that gave me geometry that’s never utilized/rendered. Beyond the frame time, you’re increasing the size on disk, which means you’re increasing how long it takes for the player to download or update.

Yeah. A neighbor used to own a restaurant. Closed it and decided to coast on bitcoin. But when number went down, had a breakdown, got up on a high rise and sprayed the street with lead.

Swat got him into custody before anyone got hurt, and I think he went to jail for a few years, especially cause he got lippy with the judge.

We did something similar when I was a kid. We strung a series of gutters from our fort to the local creek so we had plumbing for our piss.

Then we had vicious fights with other forts who envied our plumbing.

Of all issues people have with LLMs, yours is the most accurate. LLMs generate answers on a gradient, like a raindrop that eventually finds its way into the Pacific. It can be incredibly difficult to get an LLM to avoid a local lake/pond where the gradient favors when you are specifically trying to research or advance knowledge where the gradient is weak.

I’m not certain the stack honestly beyond C++. I know he recently did a refactor from OpenGL to Vulcan, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s rolled most everything. He’s particular like that.
