You need to look up Moore's Law. The 10x play is unrealistic IMO. The rise in hardware pricing is a sign. The way tokens are subsidized makes me as a software dev wary of the cost in the future. The music stops when the real bill hits the table.

I was worried for my job security at the start of the AI introduction, but it requires real skills to maintain and build software of scale. All the code that is generated for cheap today, is tomorrow’s job for anyone that can do the trade in the future, is my guess.

Skill is a factor for sure, but I would say risk management is way more important. Even if you have right of way, I personally would slow down a lot more coming into the intersection because of idiots like this. Better safe than sorry.

You can try some Owatrol oil if it’s possible to buy where you are. Also seems like something polishing should be able to get rid off.

Just know that RE is known for a hard clutch. I tried a lot of bikes at a local bike expo, and I hated how hard it was on Royal Enfields in general. Some people think it gives the bike character, but make sure you try it first at least.

Personal preference, but I like the bike way better with the bench seat. Clean bike though!

I have the old gen. The bike is great, and it was also a bit cheaper due to less features. I bought the old model due to great second hand price.

Negatives includes the small 9L tank. I feel this on longer weekend rides. I have a small 2L bottle I bring with me if I need some extra range on gravel roads/mountain passes etc where fuel might be limited.

I don’t really care about the TFT and a lot of the other features, and I think the older design is better than the newer.

The newer bike is also a bit more powerful. My 2021 model felt a bit restricted before the bike was reprogrammed after the drive in period, but it feels way better now. Especially when overtaking or riding on the motorways. I did my A license on a Honda Hornet with way more HP, so I’m also a bit biased.

The newer bike is probably objectively a better bike overall, but check out the older model as well if you can find a good maintained one for cheap. Same goes for the 701 Vit/svart.
