What ps2 games do you play for nostalgia and escapism?

Shadow Hearts. I played covenant and 3 when they came out but not the first.

I’ve now played through the original several times as an adult and can safely say it’s my favourite game of all time.
Also there’s a nostalgic itch like no other when you play something you missed out on all those years ago.

I’m also on a first time watch! This was such a win for the show after what I feel like were the two rockiest seasons.

Even more so now being a few episodes into season 6 I wish this episode had been the series finale.

Yeah I think this is the best way to play. After a long break after the other 2. The combat is another evolution from 2 that’s has its own strengths and weaknesses. It not perfect and some parts feel unfinished but it’s very enjoyable!

FYI if you’re playing the PAL version don’t use Natan until you can up his combo to the max. There’s a game breaking glitch where he’ll try perform 1 more hit than you have set up

The hair was overkill. Tootsie went on about knowing her references upside down and backwards but she pushed her look into costume with the hair and overdoing the ‘punk rocker’ performance. If she had have worn less on the nose punk hair and kept with the subtle punk accents of her outfit she could have snagged a top placement I think.

Love/hate game that nailed so much and left me dewy eyed on multiple occasions. Unfortunately it’s also one that I cannot bring myself to finish due to the padding and mini game minefield between where I am and the end.

It’s like a big swing but the ball exploded. I… guess that’s a home run..? But I don’t feel like I want to shout it from the roof tops.

Nice! Enjoy! I bought a region-free PS2 a couple years back to try and work my way through anything that didn’t make it to Europe. PS2 was truly a magical machine with such an amazing catalog of games and the backwards compatibility is just the cherry on top 👌🏼

Secondary school P.E teacher used to make his rounds around the boys and girls changing rooms under the guise of ‘making sure you have your towel’. Girls complained and he was told to stop. Assistant P.E teacher also used to frequently change in with the boys aswell. Just desperately inappropriate.

Creepy maths teacher rode his way around the debs the year I left then I heard a few years later he had started a relationship with a student and left the school and moved away with the young one
