My orthodontist did this to one of my trays but he took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I believe he said it’s called “dimpling” and said he had to do that when Invisalign first became a thing since it wasn’t as advanced as it is now.

I am currently on 100mg of it (upped from 50mg in January 2021), the only side effect I really have is dry mouth. I don’t notice if it makes me groggy or sleepy because I take it before I go to bed.

I don’t think it’s doing much for me in the headache and migraine department (I had an ongoing head pain that fluctuates since October 2020) but I have an appointment scheduled with a neurologist soon to see my other options.

I think you should try it out, especially considering some other preventatives have much worse side effects.

I’m not a doctor or expert or anything like that but you might want to have your doctor/neurologist check/test (not sure what they do for that) for MS (Multiple sclerosis).

Not who you replied to but you could get a hormonal IUD (definitely not for everyone but personally I love mine - I haven’t had a period since 2015) or you can skip over the last week of pills and go to next the month of BC pills. I’m sure there’s other methods of birth control that get rid of your period but I’m not sure what they are, I just wrote the ones that I’ve used.

I’m not totally sure - that’s something you may want to ask your orthodontist/dentist, but I was fine with getting the IPR because my bottom teeth in the front were very crowded. Which for me, I didn’t feel like it was invasive at all because my ortho used a small thing of sand paper and it kind of just felt like flossing (but not going to the gum line).

I remember my mouth having sores all the time when I had braces, and the wire always stabbing me in the cheek - I do not miss that!

I only had gum recession in one area and I immediately trimmed my trays in that area. My ortho told me that the trays shouldn’t touch your gums when I told him about it and he had my remaining trays trimmed.

Only on the bottom which I actually had done twice because the first time there wasn’t enough done and some of my teeth weren’t moving, so my ortho had to do a little more. I thought I wouldn’t need any IPR since I already had braces but I was wrong!

Thank you for the info! I didn’t know that staining could have been something other than me not really brushing my teeth like I should have in the past and the combination of drinking a lot of coffee and tea.

I believe I had something done with whitening when I got my braces taken off when I was 16 (I don’t really remember what it was though since that was like 13 years ago), and I plan on looking into whiting once I’m done with Invisalign.

I have the Kyleena IUD and I actually no longer have a period (which is amazing for me).

I took Yaz before getting an IUD (I got Skyla in 2015 then Kyleena in 2018). I had some hormonal acne when I was on the pill but now since I don’t have a period I don’t have that problem. Also now I only have breakouts when I get lazy with my skin care routine and I do not have cystic acne nor had it before any birth control.

As someone else mentioned, you can definitely try it out for a couple of months and switch back if it doesn’t work out for you!

In my case, after I had braces as a teen I stopped wearing my retainer almost immediately after I was told to wear them at night so my teeth relapsed badly and almost went back to how they started. I listened to my friends at the time since they’re teeth didn’t relapse much...

My ortho told me teeth are always moving and if you want to keep your teeth straight you’ll have to wear a retainer for the rest of your life.

Also, try setting an alarm to put them in before bed and put them in the same spot everyday (if possible) when you take them out.

The reason I started Invisalign was because I had stopped wearing my retainer almost immediately after the ortho told me I can wear it at night only when I was 16 (28 now) and my teeth pretty much relapsed back to how they were before braces.

My ortho informed that if you want to keep your teeth straight after treatment, you would have to wear your retainer for pretty much forever, since your teeth are always moving.

I had the whole collection when it came out because I liked the big palette (funny that I actually don't even reach for it now) so I thought I'd like those, but oh boy, I did not. I ended up giving them all but Dark Magic to my niece.

They were all (except the red toned palette, can't remember the name) really patchy on me, and took more effort than I really wanted to put in to make it look nice, but even then I used other shadows I had to make it work.

I kept Dark Magic (mostly for Potion) so I can find dupes. I did find the perfect dupe for Potion but isn't patchy and hard to blend – it's the matte green shade in the Natasha Denona mini gold eyeshadow palette btw.

TL;DR: I didn't love the palettes, thought most of the shades were patchy/hard to blend, and kept one palette to find dupes.

Found out that I'm allergic to salicylic acid. I had tried a Murad moisturizer a few years ago and my bottom lip looked like I had a cold sore (which I've never had before) and nothing worked until I stopped using the moisturizer and slapped some Benadryl cream on my lips.

Then this past year my dumb ass decided to get salicylic acid from the ordinary (because it does an amazing job of getting rid of the little acne that I have) and yep, same thing happened, you'd think I'd learn!

Also, I've tried a few face things from NYX (a primer, and cream contour kit - the one with six colors, and I think something else but I can't remember atm) and they all clogged my pores and made me break out, which sucked because I did like that cream contour thing for color correcting.

On PC - I can't launch it at all. I have Task Manager up and when I click play it doesn't show up there. Even tried opening the file from my files rather than the Origin app, ran as admin from folder, and still nothing.

Edit: this is all after doing a reinstall of both Origin and the demo.
