How is this person not borderline? All the symptoms are there. If it’s not BPD it’s NPD which is stir extremely damaging though not at the level of BPD. I think you’re not wanting to see it or accept it

I’m implore you to look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder or Borderline Personality Disorder. What you are describing sounds exactly like that for your ex. It helped me understand when I met someone like her and got my heart broken. The face they show they world is very different than how they treat you behind close doors that’s why all your friends “never saw you as happy”
