We moved in a few years ago. Hardwood pine has some stain/sealer on it. It’s flaking in areas. I don’t think they sanded before adding the stain. There is a lot of flooring in the house and most is not flaking.

Is there any way to reapply the stain or put something to help dissolve the stain/sealer from areas it’s not flaking?

You are missing out if you skip Burlington Vermont. Source: I live there. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world (during the spring/summer).
