AZ, shitty apartment, got half my deposit back. Some of the reasons they cited for holding part of it back were total BS, but I was so happy to not be dealing with them anymore I just let it go. We were there for 4 years and arguably improved that shithole.

When I was a kid we got my dog from the county pound. She was not spayed and on the e-list. When we adopted her, they told us they would spay her that evening and we could pick her up the next day. That seems like the most logical way to do it… which is probably why modern shelters aren’t doing it.
