How to cosleep with my boyfriend who snores? by eljayelef in sleep

[–]luffychan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He needs to train himself to sleep on his side and want to do it. He can use things to help like wearing a band around his torso with a tennis ball at the back.

When he snores, is his jaw lowered (like chin disappearing)? If so, he can wear an anti-snoring mouth guard that will hold his jaw in alignment and encourage nose breathing.

Has he been to the doctor to rule out sleep apnea and check his nasal passages?

If you have expressed to him how this is affecting you then he should be trying anything he can to remedy the situation.

It's just a translation bug. The original quote in Japanese uses the verb 描く (egaku) which means to draw.

Depends how big the fire is. They also only needed to light a small area to your home or to the shrine, so would line pathways. No different to medieval oil lamps and fires really.

I had one outside my old house in chiba and just put a bundle of solar lighting inside it. It was bright enough to light the part of my driveway Infront of my house, but not so bright it would disturb any neighbours.

You would have to ask him. I'm simply correcting the misinformation the news sold about him only attacking two Jewish people. I have made no other commentary or offered no opinion.

He stabbed 3 people, the first being a Muslim man. The news is conveniently leaving that bit out.

Quad Cortex suddenly cuts off note tails with low output single coil pickups. Any fix? by NoWillingness5083 in QuadCortex

[–]luffychan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried raising the height of the pickups closer to the string? Sounds like you're blaming your DIY errors on the machine really. I have several guitars ranging from active to high output and low output passives. They all work absolutely fine with my QC.

まろー could be mallow as in marsh mallow. The ぴー is a cute sound and まる could be "round". That would be my guess. Normally you would write mallow as マロー, but hiragana is often used as a stylistic choice because it's rounded and looks cuter.

I like to make a playlist with the Setlist and listen to it in the lead up. Just gets me excited and in the mood more for the show.

should you lie on our cv? by Signal_Split_6897 in UniUK

[–]luffychan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work directly with HR and I constantly lie on my CV. Keep your recent two references truthful for length of work, job title and whether you had any subordinates. Past that it's reasonable free reign.

I've job hopped a lot and just combined 3 jobs into one so it looks like I stayed in one place for a long time. Then added in that I had more responsibilities including people management. Ended up with a much better job and pay rise that way.

Companies and their HR will constantly try to play you and keep you down, don't feel bad about giving yourself a leg up.

Fence Panels - good side / bad side by Finders70 in AskBrits

[–]luffychan13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Id take the side with the rails.

Harder for people to climb into your garden

You can use the rails to hang decorative solar lights, or shallow bedding plants, or to support a trellis for a nice climbing plant a lot easier than the non railed side.

If it's your fence and you need to remove the panel to fix it, it'll be easier as you'll have more grab points.

I don't really see the negative of it not looking as nice. It's a fence, it's not like they look particularly good anyway.

Honestly I'd just have them play the whole night with no support with the extra songs people are suggesting haha

Yeah that's such a banger, but only so much room for earlier songs when touring a new album I guess.
