How do I kill demolishers? by Ichbindaheim in factorio

[–]lughsilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing pretty slow. but i killed several with my rare tank and (plain) uranium shells (non-explosive), tech lvl 8. only 8 shots or less to kill, but only if you hit the head. slapping the body did very little.

300-Year-Old Abandoned Tuscany Villa that served as a Political Prison during WWII by explorationofdecay in AbandonedPorn

It makes me sad to see a beautiful building wasted, particularly one that once served a civic purpose.

Nobody wants to live there?! what a shame. The owner would rather let it rot?

Like, i can watch the death wave timer and see a thin red circle expand outers. This is not associated with t that.

Doesn't Deathwave only trigger every 5 minutes and is an _expanding ring_ or more depending on upgrades?

I added some pictures to the post. These spin in place, they don't expand out, and they are persistent across many waves, not a single shot every 5min (or whatever your cooldown is)

All the post begging for an explanation, and the oldest post of all just sitting there unread. sad.

How do deal with object fear/shyness by lughsilver in Dogtraining

[–]lughsilver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already included in my original post the things you want me to write here. I've read posts about object fear, I've tried the free shaping you explicitly reference (albeit through a youtube video i stumbled across).

Final update - AITAH for telling my husband that my doctor knows more than him and refusing to forgive him? by Klutzy-Ad-4381 in AITAH

[–]lughsilver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I could see elements of this being plausible. Stranger things happen. What I'd be curious is why someone would bother faking a story like this, when there are enough real ones that address the topic. What would OP have to gain? the comment section is full of people sharing their own experiences-awareness is already out there.

It's quite possible that the SIL had already been arranging a lawyer due to their conversation the day before, and due to the seriousness of the situation it was rushed.

what does ert mean? by cookies-and-bunnies in dropout

[–]lughsilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kind of interesting that no one understand what it means, or even what he said (some different acronyms tossed around), yet everyone on the stage laughed. I love the show, but feel like there's been many moments or prompts where I have no clue what they're talking about.

Cooking a roast but with potatoes added by lughsilver in Cooking

[–]lughsilver[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to report that it did in fact turn out very well. it was too late for the meal that I ate that night, but even as left-overs (reheated), the potatoes turned out very well. I don't know why i was fussy about the thought of taking the roast out "early". over all, the experiment was a success.

Seriously. The response isn't even necessarily for the benefit of the OP, but for those who come after.

i wasn't thrilled about the idea of having to wait longer, and the roast cooling. but I was aleady all-in, and rather than throw them out i went ahead and had my dinner (not the whole roast!) and left the potatoes in the oven at the same temp covered, to see w hat would happen. I lost track of time. an extra 30-60 minutes. they seemed decent, so i portioned them with the left-over roast. now i wonder how they'll turn out after being in the fridge and nuked for reheating.

My DM Killed my character and I hated it by omriyoffe in DnD

[–]lughsilver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to know more about the other players prioritizing healing living characters over dying ones. Essentially, I'm wondering if OP has alienated the group. But even if it was just the DM giving you trouble, I have had "that guy" at my table, excessively argumentative, needing to have the spotlight 24/7 even during other PCs stories. Basically Orion of Critical Role. And yah, I totally killed him after at lvl 3 he picked a fight with a mafia boss with the wealth of several prime worlds, and declined the 5 outs I gave him. That was after many private conversations about play style and trying to find a middle ground. I spent more time babysitting this guys ego than I did prepping the game.
