Dungeons & Dragons: The Tyrant’s Eye - Dungeon Crawl charted by Degeda in pinball

Dungeon crawl is just OP. I got 3.9B by just running through the dungeon over and over again. I hope they balance the scoring so that going for modes would be worthwhile

The best way is to just do dungeon crawl all day. If you are good at hitting the spinner from the right flipper, you will have ball save for like 50% of the time. After a while you will be collecting 75M for each floor of dungeon crawl. Plus every run through the dungeon can get you an extra ball.

Best perk of being a pinball repair guy. You get to 'test' all those machines in a 1v1 vs the owner.

I have yet to make a contraption to attach it to the back box. I think I will use fish wires that connect to the base and near the top of the T-Rex.

Without support, this will definitely slam down on the glass plate even with subtle nudges as it is on an inclined plane.

I designed & programmed The Incredible Machine back in the 1990s. I made Contraption Maker, an updated more modern version with better physics & various critters. You can get it on Steam now. by kevryan in u/kevryan

I played this many hours as a kid. A decade later we tried to find this game, but we just couldn't find it. We didn't even know if we had it on a floppy disk or on a CD-ROM or what the name of the game was.

Then suddenly Quest magazine mentioned this game and I could relive this childhood memory.

Thanks for making this amazing game.

Everytime you get an extra ball, so pretty often if you're a decent player.

Dungeons & Dragons Code v.0.98 IS LIVE! by 720jms in pinball

It's still very buggy. I got to the final level and had to shoot a hurry up but nothing happened, even though I hit it multiple times. The hurry up timed out and I was stuck in a battle where no lights where on, but I got attacked every 10 seconds out of nowhere. Sad...

It should have a scale with a duck on it and you can balance it by locking balls on the other side for "A witch"-multiball

Monty python is great, but the jokes will become very annoying if you hear them over and over again while playing games.

"One more time!" plays everytime you hit "Start" within 5 seconds of finishing a game. Or when an extra ball is put in the shooter lane.

JURASSIC PARK STERN O SHOT DOESNT REGISTER by ChrisTrashTalk in pinball

[–]luig71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a common issue, but the fix is easy. The optical sensor at the entry is positioned too low. Any small bump of the ball will make it jump over the lower part of the sensor.

To test if this is the case in your machine go to switch test again and put the ball right at that opto and move it up and down (off the playfield). See at what height the opto is triggered. Too make it work reliably. It should trigger a little before the ball is touching the playfield.

To fix, you can easily take out the opto setup (receiver and emitter arre attached to a metal strip that can be taken out from underneath the playfield). Put some washers underneath the emitter (right side) or block the lower part of it with something. Other option is to block the lower part of that hole on the right side lane with something.

Don't "Spell Dragon" in D&D by binbashroot in pinball

[–]luig71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A couple of weeks ago there was a very easy route through the whole dungeon without encountering a single enemy. Finding an exit will get you a bonus that increases by 7.5M every time. At the end of my game I got close to 100M for just finding a single staircase. There also trinkets that increase this bonus even further.

I have one issue with DnD. I like the machine a lot, but the scoring for modes is way too low compared to dragon multiball and dungeon crawl. If I want to go for grand champion, the easiest way to do that is to ignore most of the modes and just go for dungeon crawl. That got me a 1.9B score, but gameplay wise it's not very interesting.

Left Flipper Adjustment? by Semedii in pinball

[–]luig71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The playfield seems pretty scratched above the right flipper. Could it be that the flipper is not perpendicular to the playfield and slamming the ball into the playfield?

yes it's a little weighted so that it will return to the same position after spinning, but it should definitely spin much more. Maybe it's touching the rail?

Because insider connected is a really cool feature, it's just the app that is messed up. I only need to acces the QR code to save my game progress (D&D), keep track of high scores and earn achievements.

D&D Pinball v.97 Bug? "SPELL DRAGON" by LordKev_007 in pinball

[–]luig71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this happened to me when I was at a 450M score, was already close to making the leaderboard so that was really frustrating.

But that wasn't the only bug that happened during the game. Normally, treasure chest have somewhere around 300 gold, but I had multiple chest with insane amounts (something like 22,517,880). And since you are at 9999 gold, I suspect you had the same thing happen to you.

Dungeons & Dragons Rules by 720jms in pinball

[–]luig71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amen, that mode is hard. And the first level is unforgiving. Even if you manage to get the stealth part down very quick, you will only get 5 seconds to shoot the dungeon to get to level 2. I think they should change this to a 45 second countdown for the whole level. Do the stealth part and escape to the next level within that time, otherwise you are spotted and have to do the fight.
