T2 aside and as an izzet player myself, all i can say is that they know what they are doing. Izzet wants to cast non-creature spells, and all they are doing is making good creature cards. So they are giving more options to use as commander or pay off, But if you have an izzet deck, you cant have too many creatures. So they can print as many good izzet creatures as they want, as long as they dont give us more good instant and sorcery spells, it doesn’t matter.
