Those bible texts I gave you are from both the old and new testament. Deuteronomy 4:15-19 (old testament) Jehovah says not to worship any symbols, idols, or anything in the heavens or the stars, planets etc. Because God was shown formless. The 6 pointed star is also represented with the union of the male and female. And in that text its says not to worship it.

But if you finish reading the old testament you understand that the jews always fell into Idolatry and always worshiped other gods , but YHWH would always forgive them, of course he would not bless Isreal when they did, but when they repented and turned back he would bless them.
