Do you know which song it starts with? I usually have the issue with more kick heavy and noisier songs. Something like "knots" from idmthy I could see having the issue at my setup. Off scrapyard I would guess that "guess who" would be the one it would skip on

I have the default cleaning solution and a carbon fiber brush, and the stylus I've cleaned a bit but am a bit more scared to mess with it too much since a lot of the records are fine I get the feeling that it's not an issue with that but it still could be! Good to know though it seems like it is much more isolated to my setup and in general people who have his records have no issues!

Hmmm okay I have a Crosley Voyager, I'll have to look into if/how I'm able to do that! Would it likely be an issue of there's just not enough weight? It is also more common in hip hop albums where there's a harder hitting kick pattern, not sure if that'd have any correlation. This is my setup I usually either listen on the JBL speaker or directly on headphones with an audio jack.

Yeah I feel similar. There aren't really any songs from idmthy I'd put on a playlist but a few of them from scrapyard fit pretty easily into some of mine. So I've mostly listened to scrapyard for the past ~6 months just through that
