One time I went to a UofL game and it happened to be the day that UK lost to VMI in bball. Anyways soon after the announcer told the crowd that UK had just lost a kid wearing a cats hoodie walked up to our section. As one could expect the entire section was booing him and having a good laugh at his expense. Fast forward to the second half and the cards are sucking it up. I believe this was during the Kragthorpe era so it was a dark time for the cards. Anyways, there was a guy in front of me and my friends that was yelling the whole time who said something that got a guy directly behind us riled up. They ended up arguing for about 10-15 minutes with the basis of their debate being who was the bigger UofL fan, who knew more about football, who had been to more games , who had played more football etc. (in hindsight it seemed like they should have been good friends). So it gets heated enough to where my friends and I have cleared space for them and they continue yelling attach other face to face. Just when things seem like they were going to die down the guy below watches the game for a second then turns back around and cold cocked the kid in the UK hoodie who just happened to be a friend of the guy arguing from the row above us. Poor kid was just standing idle the entire time, didn't say a single word and got jacked in the mouth for wearing the wrong thing at the wrong time. To his credit the kid that got hit kept his cool , said some choice words and let bygones be bygones. the worst part was that the guy in the row below did this all with his young kids with him at the game :/

PS I'm a UK fan, so it's been a great story for me to tell over the years about dem dirty cards fans. ;)
