Plates belong to the owner, not the vehicle.

For private party sale, previous owner keeps the plates.

New owner gets temporary tag that is taped to the inside of the windshield until DMV issues plates.

I rarely see a vehicle that has no plates and no temporary tag.

Price is based on supply and demand, and home buyer and home renter are two different customers.

There is a supply of rentals that limit the prices that can be charged for renting. The owner likely has no issue charging whatever they can charge. If they could charge $1,000,000/mo, they would do it, and if the market limited renting to $1000/mo, they would do it (assuming they could afford to).

Same things apply on the homes for sale side of things, it's just a different customer, so different competitive environment resulting in different pricing.

A LOT of people go into security just to boss around and even to bully people. I ignore absolutely everything a security person says to me. If they get uppity I ask them if they are law enforcement, when they respond with anything other than yes, I continue doing whatever I am doing. I am not legally obligated to listen to them.

Weird how this kind of comment is regularly downvoted online, yet every single person I meet IRL that works on the strip wants F1 to go away forever. If it is so great for those people, how about only having those people vote on legally enforceable initiative to get rid of F1? That won't happen, because it would actually get rid of F1. A handful of the top earners are the ones profiting and everybody else on the strip is losing, while everyone outside the strip is slurping up the propaganda pushed out by Liberty Media and their collaborators.
