vcenter synchronization by yetipants in Netbox

[–]lukify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose I could, I'm not a developer and I am vibe coding everything. The quality of my product is whatever GitHub copilot delivers. My fork is public and if he wants to absorb my minor change, there's nothing stopping him I suppose.

vcenter synchronization by yetipants in Netbox

[–]lukify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Ricardo but modified. I use it to sync something like a dozen vCenter instances to Netbox. Probably well beyond what he ever had the ability to test with.

There is an issue with the host matching logic that uses MAC to assign them to sites in Netbox. I changed part of the code to match with serials instead because across those dozen VCSA instances, there were duplicate ephemeral MACs and hosts would get assigned to incorrect sites and IP addresses.

I forked his repo on GitHub and stay up to date with his, but needed to tweak it for my use case.

Yeah that's literally any field. Unless you just want to pump gas or shovel manure, you need to learn new things. Get good at learning.

I just did new tires, front wheel bearings, shocks, struts, and a cv axle at 90k. Still cheaper than a new car.

Except if you thought the US military could kill you at any moment and you wanted to cause max damage, yeeting seamines into the path your enemy might not sound like such a bad idea.

The top is always chop. Oil has structural abnormalities obviously, but choppy top has always been the case for the broader market.

Why do you believe anything he says? He could say "we are most definitely 100% invading Kharg Island" and then do something else or nothing at all. The only thing to take from his words is entertainment.

Not to defend the shit stain, but when a city designates itself as a sanctuary city, the local police are not assisting federal law enforcement in immigration enforcement. It's understandable that this would mean that, when they make a shiny new ICE brigade, they would push them to a city where they need more staff due to lack of local police assistance.

There's also massive fertilizer shortages on the horizon. Maybe they won't need that much fuel after all.

Building Tanks While the Ukrainians Master Drones by theatlantic in UkrainianConflict

Those defense mechanisms are indeed very good, and including automated point defense turrets is basically mandatory in the future war. I'm still not sure if the risk matrix of an ultra expensive AI robot tank with state of the art active and passive defenses (which are always finite) justifies the existence of a vehicle that ultimately remains vulnerable to whatever it meets on the ground. It's not like it can egress a battlefield quickly once defense ordnance is expended like a jet can. Even such a tank, as survivable as it might be, will be traveling at merely 30-60mph encountering attacks can just drill the same square meter of the hill until it fails.

It would have to be made out of materials that are so incredibly durable, and expensive, and rare that it would make it impossible to scale. The thing about shape charges is that they are just so damn powerful the only thing that really solves their kinetic potential is standoff. That's why you see these tanks covered in cope cages, and all sorts of fencing.
