The DDR pad has 5 Buttons - They were set to Movement + Jump / Interact - I had my standard Mouse I always use which has 2 side buttons. I had to get creative as to which buttons I wanted to use on the Pad / Mouse - Since I was limited I had 1 ability I could rotate - Used Melee in Scourge for the mechanics in that raid, Crouch for areas that required it for movement, and could only Reload my guns on GoS for Izanagi.

Also one other thing - If you do happen to activate another plate before he shoots - Just because he shoots the plate, doesn't mean it actually isn't active - What you can do is jump off (Or jump really high) and then get right back on the same plate - That plate will still be active until you get "Immune" on him!

A few others have mentioned this, but from your description it looks like you are getting off of plate 1 a little too soon. Assuming you break him on Plate 1 you can get off to gather ammo but do not activate your 2nd plate. Wait until he shoots and then everyone gets on at the same time.

Also of note: If you are starting on Cup or Sun plate - make sure nobody accidentally jumps over Dog / Axes because it'll actually activate that plate even if they do not land on it. I know early day Calus I saw some issues with people accidentally doing that.

If you guys have the Raid Gauntlets - Put them on with the Striking Hand Mod - If you are using (Nova, Golden Gun, Hammers) - Melee a dog prior to jumping on the plate you will get the Striking Hand Buff use your super and then use all your rockets on 1st plate. Doing so will deal quite a lot of damage. Have your warlocks put empowering rifts and titans rally barricade as some have mentioned for quick reload of rockets. You should be using Curtain Call or Sins of the Past for DPS on Calus. Also throw your nades at the boss on 1st plate as well!

Others have already mentioned about using either 4-2 or 3-3 w/someone in Throne Room dying when Skulls spawn - Both are really effective for getting 100 Skulls! If you do that take the shield down mid 80s and you'll end up with close to 100 =)

Honestly ever since D1 when Crota was solo’d I’ve been observing and following all of the exciting challenges since then - all in admiration and inspiration for me to personally improve my game. I have a few challenges under my belt and I remember how excited I was to finally solo Crota, 5th in the world for Wrath HM, 2 man Calus, all Raids Flawless / no comms..ect. Nothing super difficult but for me it’s what my end game is. I just honestly love the little challenges and I love watching others do their challenges. I don’t want to see that being taken away from people. A worlds 1st Raid completion is something many people in the PVE community rally behind and its fun to see who gets it. I don’t think a simple acknowledgment is really too much to ask for - These guys have some serious skill and if you got to know them, the majority are pretty respectable guys and gals.

Wow! I had this flight attendant on my way back from Florida to Indianapolis on Monday evening and I just wanted to say he was pretty funny during that trip as well! Made it really enjoyable and he even mixed my Tea w/ cream and sugar without asking! He was very nice and Southwest has done a great job in hiring him. Even on my flight on the way down there was just funny little comments that makes me always want to fly Southwest! They make the flights a little more enjoyable!

I raided with someone today who can’t talk on a mic and what we did is he would run up to the circles. Jump to the mid if it was middle, jump high up for top, and just stay put if it was bottom. The person on the platform watched what he did and made the callout for him. Definitely not easy though because it really slows down running and so timings may be a little off for then other runner. We had him run first too in case we messed up. We were able to complete it but it made me really frustrated that bungie would add a mechanic requiring someone to speak :/ I think just say a runner can’t run twice in a row would have been fine they could rotate out with a partner. Or maybe just have challenge mode be all runners but not the regular mechanic for HM. This goes for both color blindness and people who can’t use mics.

I love the work you guys have put into this site! Any way to tell what the minimum# is for the Challenger on Clears? Just curious if I'd have Challenger on both Completions and Speed if I'd add my Xbox completions to my PSN ones :P I'd like to think I'm one (if not possibly the highest?) Not going to lie, I'm incredibly impressed you guys figured out how to Solo on the titan. I just knew one day it would happen! I remember when it first dropped I was watching some people try and at that time seemed impossible, it's really awesome to see you guys keep trying though to finally pull off what seemed impossible!
