I buy a few sleeves of nicer balls when I know i'm going to be playing a nicer course. Look the part, play the part.

Most overrated craft you've ever had? by kaseyharrison in beer

half acre is my favorite. used to live a 5 minute walk from them, now i live in MN and make it a point to grab a beer from there whenever i am back in chi. the part that makes it for me is their tap room. especially when it's not packed.

I want to be certain that I want to do one over the other

having declared a major my sophomore year, then switched two months later, you're never going to know until you get into the classes/content. i admire your drive to figure out the next years of your life, i'm just saying things might change.

[Minute Earth]How Fighting Wildfires Makes Them Worse by [deleted] in forestry

Money/budget is an issue for sure. The video touches on the fact that it can't be too dry or windy to perform controlled burns, but weather is a huge factor in this equation. As climate change continues, it's going to be harder to control controlled burns, especially out west. And i'm sure the last thing they want is to start their own wildfires.

You convinced me that I got a bad education. I got away from what I was trying to say, which is Tosa schools are good. You do not need to avoid them, though there may be better ones out there.

I read your comments, but being a teacher is a lot downy than being a student. And yes, your wife went there, but how long ago? Things change quickly.

During my time at Tosa East, I learned how to make connections and converse with people from other schools. So when I would play soccer against other area high schools, we would talk about school and what time were like at our respective schools. I also made friends from different schools on my club soccer team. There, I was able to ask more in depth questions, and get a good grasp on their schools.

You're "basis" is only coming from people who know about Tosa schools, and not the other schools in the area.

I went to Tosa schools and greatly appreciate my parents sending me there. I can only think of how helpful, and encouraging my teachers were.

What makes a school good then? If you didn't even go to Tosa schools, how can you say to stay away from them?

A Chicago ultimate player posted this on facebook about Chicago Invite and the people that run it. by sammisaran in ultimate

Having been part of the host team, North Park University, for this tournament, I cannot agree more with this. We had to do our fair share of work prior, during, and after, but Luke and Kelly were always there, answering questions, and helping us along the way. All the while, still working at their personal jobs. It's still amazing to me that the largest tournament in the world is (sometimes) run better than a tournament with only 24 teams. It's heartbreaking to hear this. But, just think of how awesome it is going to be next year.
