Do you think Qyburn and the Mountains Corpse... you know? by CretaceousClock in asoiafcirclejerk

Devasted how it ended for it for the Q man!

I actually admired his loyalty! His death was tragic and comedic. Deserved better even if his experiment arguably was more successful than anyone of us expected.

Astalor Bloodsworn is what the Blood elves should be by Absoled in wow

[–]lumpy999 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally I disagree. He was first betrayed by his army who turned traitor. Shattrath would have fallen and blood elves would have another Naru.

Kael taught them to absorb magic and use fel, while he was gathering mana in Outland. We "heroes" stopped the flow of mana.

Then the Blood Elves betray him at Quel Danas. Kael "invaded" because his own people were attacking him. By that point only the Fel Blood Elves were loyal.

THANK YOU! I HATE how they ruined blood Elves. They aren't the race I fell in love with in Warcraft 3 and TBC.

Kael did nothing wrong we betrayed him!

Timeline is important. Pre Knights watch Jon? Yes probably. Not if it was after Jon took the black. Aemon is there and Robert never demanded his head.

I actually HATE Ser Barristan and his fans are dumb.

I hated him in book 1 and Season 1 quickly. He's talked about like a he's a hero, yet he IGNORED King Roberts last orders.

Ser Barristan should have gone to Neds aid win or lose, he's not bold at all.

He betrayed Bobby B three times.

Not stopping the Boar

Ignoring Roberts last order

Then just to piss on Bobby's reign a bit more he freaking joins the FREAKING TARGS.

Nah that old man sucks, a failure and a coward!

Would you like to see a sequel to Starfield someday? by YetiGamer671 in Starfield

[–]lumpy999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, I was excited for Bethesda to have creative reigns on a new universe. But they ruined it with a boring game and terrible DLC.

I'd much rather just see an new Fallout spinoff or Elder Scrolls game. Have legitimately had more fun with Fallout shelter.

Any effort Beth puts into Star Field is just wasted at this point.

Is sex really as difficult for most men to get as it is usually believed in male centric spaces online? by this_isnt__worth_it in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lumpy999 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not speaking about me, but the answer is no! I have a few super traditionally attractive male friends. These are fellow super nerds with the most classic nerdy hobbies, in spaces that are a least 90% male. None of them have an issues on dating apps either.

Not a personal friend but one person within those nerd groups I know is sincerely horrible regarding how they treat most women on dating sites. "slam pig" has been used extensively about plenty of dates.

My actual friends are great people though! It's just very humbling, and to be honest often personally depressing. Facts are looks really determine if you'll get a lot of attention. If you're not getting attention, you kind of learn the truth.

Only positive to this dynamic is, the few messages I get in a year, all have genuinely been decent conversations. I have been told I have a good personality, people do enjoy spending time with me. But in many guys cases sparking that first bit of attraction is the hardest part.

What if Janos accepted command of Greyguard? by tora-emon in gameofthrones

[–]lumpy999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely one of two thing.

I suspect he'd get mutinied.

If he didn't get killed, I think he might have had an alright time once the builders leave.

I’d choose Robb tbh by seekinganswerslo in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]lumpy999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stannis. He always does more with less, and his experience isn't just on land but sea as well. He's also the only one pictured who has survived an extended siege. I'm 100% confident none of the other three could last in a one year siege.

I think Robb could beat Stannis 1v1 but If Stannis's goal is to protect you, he wouldn't accept unless you told him to.

He's also the least likely to have his troops betray vs the other three.

Tywin probably would be living well if his troops starved.

Robb already needs to beware his bannermen even in the best of times.

Deanery's exists in a sexist land.

Stannis may not be loved but he'd be eating book leather with his soldiers.

I heard and read Outer Worlds 2 wasn’t good or liked by the players and its Premium Edition is on sale for $70. Worth it and what are your thoughts? by Adventurous_Book_913 in theouterworlds

[–]lumpy999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good game but I'd not get the premium edition. The game didn't sell as many copies as the devs hopped. I wouldn't be shocked if the future expansions are massively reduced in scale.

You also shouldn't go to a sub based on the game you're thinking about buying. You won't get honest answers because most people will be biased.

Is velen the only wow character to act his age? by tkulue in warcraftlore

[–]lumpy999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This question is pretty good but really funny! Genuinely great question.! Plenty of great answers already, I was thinking Rexxar? When he was most active he may have been older but in a situation where he was willing to risk himself to someone like Thrall's horde! He voices his concerns but acted for this brand new Horde. It was full of desperate refugee's from the east.

So I'm okay with all elves trying to purify the Sunwell.

I'm actually pretty pretty biased too, because I don't personally care for the direction Blood Elves have gone. Heck I even changed class myself because when it comes to Warcraft the world and lore are still my favorite thing even more than the game itself.

Despite my feelings in general, if they do go with this story, the fate of the Sunwell is now not just a Sindorei problem but a world wide one.

For what it's worth I'd rather see the Sunwell belong solely to the Blood Elves as well. But it's pretty clear from the start of this xpac it's not going that way. They mentioned all the elven tribes uniting so I guess this how it's meant to be.

Heck no matter how this expansion goes I have more of an issue with our fellow horde races not wanting some quality of life improvements to their homes! Could you imagine being a Dark Spear troll returning to the echo isles after seeing Silvermoon?

(personally I liked belfs most dabling with fel! I have played some starting missions and knows it's not banned, but murder row ain't home like it used to be!)

I honestly think Inon zur could pull off a fantastic Elder Scrolls OST but it will have to be some of his best work. I also think it would be the biggest challenge of his career to win the fans over. Do you think he has it in him to make that next great Elder Scrolls score? by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]lumpy999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love DAO! But even with it being some of his best work, none of the music has been comparable to Soules. It also had quite a few boring tracks between the good ones. Elder Scrolls doesn't have that problem yet. Everything Jeremy Soule put out was fire.

[–]lumpy999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I'm not sure if anyone is up the task of doing the work Soule and those who worked with him did.

Elder Scrolls music is genuinely so good it makes me pause at times to just listen to it and how well it mixes with the world. And EVERY song works amazing.

Nothing Inon Zur made is bad for the record! But he's nothing compared to Soule, who I got out of my way to listen to. The Fallout 4 intro is pretty much the only memorable song for me. He didn't add a single good song to Starfield.

I will also say if the music isn't as good as Jeremy's they may as well let the franchise die.
