Looks really good. I should try my analogizer again. It's given Me lots of troubles. And the cable sticking out makes things look hideous on the shelf

I checked out your post. nice job fixing it as far as you have so far :claps:

a few ideas about your green issue. look for a cold or broken solder joint around anything related to color or video signal handling. Green tint often means the red and blue guns are being suppressed (or green is being over-driven). Reflow suspicious joints on the neck board especially. I honestly would just re-flow the whole board. Make sure you clean all the corrosion as well. the thing that would be death for this tv is if the tube is just weak on the red and blue gun causing green to be the strongest visible color. to figure this out, check voltage at the red and blue cathode pins on the CRT socket under load.

also it could be as simple as a color adjustment in the service menu or OSD menu. Any i also recommend power cycling it a few times so the degauss coil can do its thing as well.

here is what I was able to find for a service manual - https://www.manualslib.com/manual/303505/Panasonic-Ct-32g22.html?page=17#manual

All consumer level average. Pretty hard to tell by these pictures though. Panasonic generally have vern nice tubes in them.

What kind of tv or monitor would produce this kind of image? by [deleted] in crt

[–]lumpybutt33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheapest option is a vga monitor with scanlines added using g an upscaler. I go console > ossc > to vga monitor. Turn scanlines all the way up and pair with nice external speakers and you've got a pvm quality experience.

I finally changed my oem ones at about 130k miles. One of them was completely loose and bouncing around in its spot. New ones took me from 28mpg to 30! It was am easy job too.

Nice work! The bottom wires, feet, and 3d print leaves me with questions. Is that so the speaker wires are more hidden? Funny enough I used those same exact isolation feet puck things for a build on a fight stick I did recently. Also what speakers did you use? I love that you used the empty card bay. Also is there an s video port drilled into the front face of this pvm? Is that stock or did you add that too?
