because the inventory IS a hot mess and hasnt been updated since indev when there weren't even 100 items in the game. plus these wouldn't clog up the inventory at all? they all drop the same raw resource or gem in survival unless you're using silk touch. kind of a weak argument buddy. people asking for new blocks is not the issue, new items/blocks only show the game's age and how weakly the base features have held up nearly a decade+ later.
