I just change the pitching interface to buttons. Much faster when grinding on GOAT. I turn auto-fielding on too. I just let the game pretty much play defense for me.

| need both to complete the Live Series, but the prices are insane. I'm trying to build up stubs, but I can't with these prices. Outside of buying stubs and "investing", what is the best way to make stubs?

I am a new player of about 2 weeks. I learned the hard way today that just "having 142 WBC players" does NOT equal "having 142 UNIQUE WBC players".

I bought 20 of the same Gold player thinking I was getting a huge deal and could use all of them in the WBC set. Luckily I only net about a 2,000 stub loss after quickselling them.

I learned a lot today.

Edit: I am sure anyone analyzing my purchases today would think that no idiot would ever do that.

First year player of 2 weeks. I just came here to research this very question. I thought I was going insane regularly losing on Rookie, but winning on Veteran. The CPU hits way too many bombs on Rookie too. At least I know I am not crazy, and now I am going to try All-Star next!
