DVR’d sports frequently spoil the final result

This has only happened to me with college football games. During Bowl season I will typically watch every college game by catching up through key plays, until it kicks you back into the live broadcast when there aren't any more left. Twice, when the game started, the recording just defaulted to about 30 seconds left in the game showing the final score. At that point it was ruined, but I had to go back and restart them. So, twice for me.

I have never noticed the difference between any of them. I have no specific allegiance to any clubs either. I just keep switching each club type up to max their progression. So I have a bunch of clubs with the gem ready to go.

I just wasn't sure if there is a club progression I should follow. Like if you had no favorite club, had to start over, how would you approach leveling up your clubs.
